Installation Guideline PROFINET Part 2 - Network Components
The signal distribution in PROFINET networks is realized by PMD큦 (PROFInet machine distributors). PMD큦 are network components with switch functionality.
This guideline describes the functional and electrical characteristics of the PMD큦. Devices with integrated switch functionality are also covered by this guideline.
